Description
INGREDIENTS:
o Grains & Legumes : Brown Rice (gluten-free) or Bulgur Wheat, Brown/Whole Lentils
o Fruit & Veg : Carrot, Celery, Dates, Onion, Spinach, Sweet Potato, Tomato, Lemon
o Herbs & Spices : Cardamom, Mint, Cloves, Garam Masala, Cayenne Pepper, Allspice, Bay Leaves, Fennel, Ras el Hanout, Black Pepper, Ginger, Sea Salt, Turmeric, Cinnamon, Paprika, Cumin, Coriander, Garlic
SERVING SIZES:
o Small – serves 1 : 115g rehydrates to ±500g
o Large – serves 2 : 230g rehydrates to ±1kg
TO PREPARE:
METHOD 1 – When in a hurry
1. Combine 1 part Dri ingredients and 1 part boiling water.
2. Allow to rest for 10+ min.,
to rehydrate.
3. Bring to a boil and then simmer for a few minutes.
Add more water as needed.
METHOD 2 – When on adventure
1. Combine the Dri ingredients and boiling water in a pressure flask, an hour+ before needed. Use a little less water than above.
2. Shake occasionally.
METHOD 3 – When time is of no issue
1. Combine 1 part Dri ingredients and 1 part cold water, 1½+ hours before needed.
2. When ready, add more water, if needed. Heat and eat.
Add a generous dash of olive oil for extra depth and flavour.
* Water measure:
Small pouch = 1½ cups or 375ml
Large pouch = 3 cups or 750ml
